Preparation for treatments

- medicine lowering blood coagulability should be put off 7 days before the treatment
- refrain from alcohol several days before the treatment
- refrain from coffee on the day of the treatment
- in the case of a treatment with general anaesthesia, on the day of the treatment the patients should be on an empty stomach and 6 hours before the treatment refrain completely from eating and drinking.
- depending on the treatment - undergoing appropriate blood tests
- in the case of breast surgery, before the treatment patients should undergo a pictorial diagnosis to exclude mammary glands pathology (Ultrasound, mammography, magnetic resonance)
